ARE
YOU FRUITFUL? (teenagers)
Memorise: He cuts off
every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch
that does bear fruit
he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. John 15:2
Please Read: Luke 13:6-9, 6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree
planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
7 Then
said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come
seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it
the ground?
8 And he
answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about
it, and dung it:
9 And if
it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

MESSAGE!!!
The
word ‘Be fruitful’ is a commandment and a blessing. God expect all His creation
to have fruits. Jesus confirmed this in John 15:8 when He said that people that
bear fruits are God’s disciples. The fig tree in today’s reading is expected to
have fig fruits. We are expected to use our skills, talents, education,
knowledge, wisdom and money to bless God’s people. When we do this, we will win
more souls to the Kingdom
The
parable of talents in Matthew 25:14-30 confirms this. You are never too young
to use your talent so make good use of every opportunity that comes your way.
For you to do this successfully, you need to be genuinely born-again. You must
have a relationship with God: accept Him as your Saviour; live by His laws and
desire to please Him always. As you do your best in these ways, He will give
you the grace to produce many fruits to His glory.
Prayer Point
Father, please make me
fruitful in every area of my life in Jesus’ name.
